Cirq à Roma 1

De Roma builds on its tradition as a circus-theatre venue. First came the folk shows with Truken Van De Foor, then Circo Roma with surprising circus-theatre performances and acts. This year De Roma goes a step further: they hand the hall over entirely to circus and theatre makers.

Bert & Fred, the well-known circus duo with many successes and awards to their name, curate this first new edition of CIRQ à ROMA. Together with De Roma they assembled an impressive team of national and international artists to create a swirling circus show!

Theatre chef Peter De Bie takes full inspiration from the circus acts and serves a death-defying menu, set to the notes and antics of Die Verdammte Spielerei — a fanfare of six drunken Adonises with cathedrals of bodies, pointed arches and round bellies.
